Mission Statement
We envision a society in which equality prevails and gender-based discrimination is eradicated. Our mission is to work with young village women to instill in them a sense of self-confidence and bravery in the face of gender inequalities. We seek to equip women with the skills necessary for empowerment, in order that they may recognize and safeguard their rights and opportunities as strong and significant members of Indian society.
Organization Objectives
- to foster an atmosphere in which women can raise a voice in opposition to violence against them, and to aid in their struggle for justice
- to provide technical training, especially in computer literacy, to village girls in order to put them on equal footing with men in educational and vocational pursuits
- to offer training workshops in a variety of skill areas, as well as exposure visits outside the women's respective villages for the purpose of building knowledge and confidence
- to weaken the patriarchal system and encourage a new societal structure in which every man and woman are equal and enjoy equal rights
